I love the challenge of writing on unique surfaces! I’d love to hear about what you’ve got in mind, and I’m sure I can come up with a way to create something beautiful on it. 

How much do you charge for _____? (envelope addressing, custom vows, event signage, day-of calligraphy, special projects, etc)

How long do you need to complete _____? 

Project timelines vary, depending on the scope, materials needed as well as my current schedule. I will provide you with an estimated timeline once you book.  

I’m in a bind, and need this ASAP! Do you offer rush services?

I’d love to help if I can! My rush availability depends on how full my calendar is and is subject to a rush fee.  Please Contact Me with your project details so I can check my availability.  

What sort of lettering styles do you offer? Do you use fonts or stencils?

All of my work is done by my own hand- with nib and ink, paint pens, or paintbrushes. I don’t use any computer-generated fonts or stencils in my work.  

Can you replicate the font used on our invitations? 

While I cannot duplicate computer-generated fonts or the work of other calligraphers, I can provide my own spin on them, or advise as to the style that I think would be best suited. 

Do you charge extra for colored ink? How about metallic inks? 

Depending on the project, some colored and metallic inks may incur a one-time flat fee of $25.

I would love to learn calligraphy but my handwriting sucks.  Do you teach calligraphy classes? 

Yes, I do! And you can too, I promise!  Calligraphy is the art of drawing letters and anyone can learn how to do it, even if your regular handwriting is barely legible.  I teach beginner-level pointed pen calligraphy, in a modern Copperplate style.  You can find more information and register for upcoming classes on my Workshops page.  I’m also available to teach private classes for groups of six to ten students.  Please Contact Me for more details if you’re interested! 

Do you do on-site calligraphy? 

I do indeed! I have worked with a number of brands, including Kendra Scott and AWAY luggage to provide custom calligraphy services for in-store and pop-up events.  Live calligraphy is always a fun addition to your events and really captures your guests’ attention.  I can also provide live engraving services for a truly elevated experience.  Please Contact Me to let me know what you have in mind.
